IMAGO DEI is a Latin term meaning “image of God”
Theologically, this term means this: Humanity is created in the image or likeness of God. This image of God, given in creation, was damaged in the fall, but may be restored through Jesus Christ.
The Bible tells us that, as Christians we “all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit.” 2 Cor. 3:18
Each of us are part of the unfolding story of humanity’s brokenness, one sinner at a time, and God’s redemptive grace in the midst of it. This is who we are, and this is what we are about.
Join us each Sunday morning at 9am for Bible Fellowship and then Sunday evening at 5:30pm as we gather for contemporary worship and study God’s Word together.
